Description: Frankie's Beans started when Frank left the corporate world behind to follow his passion of coffee. Coffee is not just a beverage for Frankie, but rather a part of most people's daily ritual.
We often laugh, cry, share our lives and sometimes fall in love over a cup of coffee. It's this intimate relationship we have with coffee that drives Frankie to source and roast some of the best coffees available from around the world.
Why not make Frankie's Beans part of your daily ritual!
This micro lot coffee originates from the Yayu Wild Forest Reserve in south-west Ethiopia. It is one of the last and most important remaining places for the preservation of wild Arabica coffee. This largely forested landscape is also a hotspot for biodiversity, with numerous rare plants and animals.
Coffee farming generates up to 70% of the cash income for over 90% of the population at Yayu. However, many farmers in the area are struggling to make sufficient income from coffee, which leads to a conversion away from forest-based farming to non-forest crops, resulting in deforestation and biodiversity loss.
